At Bridgewater Consulting Group, we measure success in several ways, including strengthening the communities in which we work. On March 24, 2025, we had the opportunity to put that commitment into action as the Presenting Sponsor for the 26th Annual CPS Energy Golf Tournament, benefitting the Residential Energy Assistance Partnership (REAP).

The Residential Energy Assistance Partnership (REAP) program changes lives. Covering critical utility costs for low-income households gives families one less thing to worry about. It keeps homes warm in the winter, cool in the summer, and connected year-round.

Supporting REAP aligns with BCG’s mission to help build stronger, more resilient communities through the projects we undertake. Working inside the energy sector, we see firsthand how vital reliable service is. We may spend our working days talking about innovation, grids, and infrastructure, but at the heart of it, it’s always about people. And this tournament helped to make that connection tangible.

While the day featured its share of strong performances and challenging moments on the course, the proper focus never wavered. Across the fairways, there was a shared understanding: this tournament was about more than competition. It was about coming together to support families who rely on REAP’s essential services.

We were also reminded of the power of collaboration. CPS Energy, IBEW Local 500, and a dedicated group of volunteers worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the tournament’s success. Their efforts highlighted the strength of partnerships in driving real impact, something we value deeply in our client relationships tool.

When the last putt dropped, no one was talking about scorecards. We were talking about impact. About how every dollar raised would go directly to families who needed a little extra help this year.

We’re proud to have played a role in making that happen. And we’re grateful to CPS Energy and IBEW Local 500 for bringing so many people together around a cause that’s easy to believe in.
